A roll of the dice. A flip of the coin. A spin of the wheel. All good ways to get a thrill and maybe a good pay out. But are they good ways to get the love of your life?
Luck is a random event. You can’t plan on it. You have to “make your own luck” which means it isn’t luck at all. Rather you should plan. Make careful lists and check them twice or three times. Set up a schedule and stick to it like glue. This is how one avoids the need for luck.
The only problem is that love isn’t the kind of thing that can be tracked with a good spread sheet. It can’t be measured, even with the most precise laser calibrated ruler in the universe. It can’t be seen no matter what spectrum you are looking in. It doesn’t check the calendar or email. Don’t even think about leaving it a message – it hasn’t checked them in so long the box is full.
How do you find love?
That brings us back to luck. Go ahead, choose your method. Roll the dice. Flip the coin. Spin the wheel. Will you be lucky in love?
Now for the fun stuff.

I don’t know that luck has any bearing on having a successful relationship. It’s a whole lot of work. I married my high school sweetheart right out of high school. We have been married for 17 years.

I think it’s more fate than luck that brings 2 people together.
Thanks!!

I think it takes a bit of luck and also creating your own luck. I seen people that tried to create their own luck and sadly fail. Roll of a dice maybe? I mean it sometimes takes so much for two people to find each other. Took me a few with my husband, but now I feel very lucky.

We have great corned beef and sandwiches and chill. Not big on the whole parade and hoopla. Definitely wearing green though…don’t want to get pinched…although a spanking would be a different story!
I have not yet been lucky in love, ie finding my soulmate, but hope springs eternal!

That’s my opinion on love: you don’t have to actively look for it; it will find you.

I am lucky in love mrsbrinius@comcast.net thanks!
What a great giveaway hop! I have yet to be lucky in love but I’m working on it. My favorite love book is “Outlander” by Diana Gabaldon. Jamie Fraser is amazing and beautiful. I enjoy St. Patty’s Day and this year I’m spending it with my best friend. We’re going to two Irish Pubs and also some dance clubs. I am also wearing green and am not a fan of getting pinched. I’m not Irish either, but many people think I am because my hair is red, my eyes green and my name is Meghan, but I’m not at all. I won’t be telling anybody that, however… let them believe I’m Irish.
Thanks for the giveaway!
